Welcome. There are many reasons that you may be seeking support: discomfort living in your body, depression, a sense of overwhelm, a life or relational transition, grief, trauma, eating problems or a disorder, physical pain or perhaps just difficulty feeling as well as you know you can. The work we do together is about accessing your body’s wisdom to find a better way forward, touching into your heart’s knowing, having an intuitive ally as you navigate life challenges, and if needed, generating a better understanding of the place from which your pain or difficulty has come and giving attention to that part of your history.
I provide body based therapy for individuals hoping to feel better, and live more whole and healthy lives. Drawing from modalities gathered through 20 years of practice, I fuse together several therapeutically oriented techniques that address the whole person – physically, psychologically, energetically, spiritually. The work we do together is about generating positive movement in stuck situations, bringing ease to the process of change, creating space for new possibilities, healing the whole self, increasing ease in your body, changing unhealthy physical and emotional patterns.
The methods that I am trained in and may draw from include existentially based psychotherapy, focusing oriented therapy, trauma work, yoga, Sourcepoint therapy, craniosacral therapy and Hellerwork Structural Integration. The work we do together is driven by both what I see would be most helpful for you in the moment as well as what you ask for, need and call from me. This is a collaborative process with both you and I working together towards your greater health and well being.
